October 2021
Hello!
How's your writing going? Mine's going well...which means WWT scene posts are not. =/ Sorry about that. I'll get back to them, maybe in January (sorry). I am, however, determined to finish 52 scene prompts this year. I gotta admit, I'm running low on ideas that directly touch the WIP. Just ten or so more to go though. I'm gonna do it. Hopefully the last dozen won't suck. =)
Need a Writing Jumpstart?
The Bronx Council of the Arts is doing another round of online craft workshops, starting October 19th. The event page says it's part of a memoir project but the four classes will focus on fiction craft techniques. I attended a couple of their classes last year (earlier this year? It was on poetry) and found them helpful. Plus they're free. So if you're looking for some inspiration to get yourself writing, it's worth checking out. (Make sure you arrive on time. Past experience says they spend about ten minutes discussing the technique right at the beginning, and then it's writing time and sharing time. If you get there late, you'll miss the good stuff.)
And that's it for me!
Thank you for reading WWT. I hope your writing's going well.
Keep at it,
Megan
